Aniboom Awards Nod To Flash Finalists

Earlier this month, I was invited to help judge the 2nd Annual Aniboom Awards, and just last week the Grand Prize winner was announced. Jungle Jail, a brilliant 7-minute, 3D-animated film by Palermo Aymeric, took the top prize along with $28,000 in cash and $3,000 in software.

Several Flash animated films were mentioned as finalists, including James Mason’s Empty Cans and Ilias Sounas’ Space Alone. These two films below also made the list:

Plushood by Tamar Moshkovitz and Shlomi Schillinger

… and Tamar and Shlomi’s detail about the project
Remembering by Pablo Polledri

A big thanks to the Aniboom team for inviting me to help out.
