Shamoozal Helps Hook Up Your Nintendo

The 5th episode of Frank and Phil Summers’ online series Shamoozal was released this week. How to Hook Up the NES is a bit of a deviation from the more story-based format we’ve seen in the first 4 episodes. I enjoyed the stories, but I suspect this how-to episode, or one like it, will be the one to break it out on YouTube. If the episode’s reception at Newgrounds is any indication, they’ve got a hit on their hands.

  1. I saw that just this morning on Newgrounds.
Shamoozal never fails to impress me with its very professional looking animation.
I wish I was just half as good as they were.

Amusing but I couldn’t get over feeling that I was watching the Goofy short ‘How to hook up your home theater’ in a different package.

  3. This is the best GFG games yet. Really excellent job on the animation guys. Top notch. The sound design really makes a difference too. A great nod to the Goofy shorts!

It’s not bad, except for the fact that the recent Goofy “Home Theater” short did all the same jokes first.

Am I missing something here? Was the goal to ape the recent short? If so, it’s well-done, but a bit pointless. If not, it’s pretty derivative.

Awesome Job guys. It did remind me of the Goofy shorts…but very cleverly done.

Love the Contra revamp, and the Grayskull ref. at the end…hahaha!

    Great job guys!
