Black Dynamite About to Kick Adult Swim’s Ass

Scott Sanders’ 2009 feature Black Dynamite is making the unlikely move into TV on August 8th. The live-action feature, while a critical success, grossed less than $300,000 at the box office after a run in only 70 theaters. It always pisses me off to hear that an amazing movie didnt do good in theaters yet Transformers 3 makes another trillion dollars. Even The “Hangover’s” made a bunch of money on that junk.
Black Dynamite was a geat flick, funny as hell so im glad they are turning it into an animated series. Kinda saw it coming. But whats with the muppet looking characters in there. Thats weird.
Anywho, im sure its going to be a good one.

  2. this pilot is amazing and all done in flash.

  3. Looks like fun, but that brand of brash over-acting and in-your-face comedy can wear on viewers fast.

Aaron, this is Adult Swim we’re talking about. Brash over-acting and in-your-face comedy is all they do.

Yet people can take many doses of Transformers and still come back for more.

  6. The movie was hilarious. Looking forward to the pilot.
