Is Nina Paley’s Sophomore Feature Under Way?
Nina Paley, who was awarded the Cristal grand prix for best feature film at Annecy for Sita Sings the Blues, has begun work on her next project. It’s a 72-minute, Flash-animated feature titled Seder Masochism. Funded in part by a Kickstarter raise, Paley is producing it in two phases. This first phase is an experiment involving the recording of actual Seder gatherings, and phase two doesn’t seem to be confirmed yet, but we’ll see.
