How the Ernest & Celestine Feature Team Used Flash

Ernest & Celestine, the 2012 French-Belgian feature film that was nominated for an Academy Award, was produced with a very painterly, water-color style and animated in 2D. The team chose Flash for the production, along with some proprietary software the team created just for the film that helped create the watercolor effect.
